This pays a nod to the source of the village name, glente+worth being an enclosure for birds of prey in Old English.

🎄CHRISTMAS🎄
This year's tree lighting will be on December 4th with mince pies, mulled wine and hot chocolate from 4pm with light up around 4.30. As ever, this is a free event but if you are able please bring a donation to the Salvation Army's Christmas Food & Toy Appeal.
Suggested grocery items are mince pies, Christmas cake and puddings, biscuits, tinned custard/cream, chocolate treats, tinned meat and fish, toiletries.
New toys such as games, puzzle and picture books, vehicles, colouring books and pencils, soft toys and teddies are always welcome.
VILLAGE CAFE
Opens on the last Friday of the month 10 - 12. All welcome for cake and a chat
PICKLEBALL
We've bought some pickleball equipment to tempt you into a new fun and social activity which is great for all ages. A mixture of table tennis, short tennis and badminton it can be as gentle or as furious as you want and is very social and easy to pick up. If you'd like to dip a toe in the water get in touch and have a free 30 mins on us.
