Village Hall Happenings

Here's hoping you're finding your way around and everything is where it should be! If there's anything missing or not working, please drop us an email and we'll take a look. This is still a work in progress, as it should be, so keep coming back to see how it's developing and to keep up with the latest news from the Village Hall.

This pays a nod to the source of the village name, glente+worth being an enclosure for birds of prey in Old English.

Every THIRD Saturday of the month

Has been running on the last Friday of the month. We're wondering about making it more of a lunchtime thing over the winter  - if you've thoughts let us know by email.

We've bought some pickleball equipment to tempt you into a new fun and  social activity. A mixture of table tennis, short tennis and badminton it can be as gentle or as furious as you want, is great for all ages and really easy to pick up.

We thoroughly enjoyed Professor Lewis' talk about Time Team old and new, recent digs here in Lincolnshire and the work of Wings to the Past. This charity supports the wellbeing of military personnel and their families and will receive a donation as thanks to Prof Lewis for her time and enthusiasm.
